For nearly three decades NSCI’s Feed the Homeless program has helped to feed thousands of people around Chicago. We provide 1,000 hot meals and brown bag lunches monthly.

We will be shelving food in their food pantry. They do require us to fill out a waiver to release them from liability, but there is no personal information required, other than a name and an emergency contact. The waiver will be shared with you upon signing up to volunteer by contacting Tracey Meyers at nscimitzvahcorps@gmail.com.

Rita Hayworth: The Love Goddess Rita Hayworth is well remembered today as one of the biggest box office stars of the Golden Age of Hollywood. From her early years as a dancer, becoming Hollywood’s first princess, and being realized as a box office bombshell, there is much to explore regarding Hayworth’s on- and off-screen life. Join film historian Dr. Annette Bochenek for a presentation about the life and legacy of Rita Hayworth. The program will include a multimedia presentation of photos, video clips, and captivating stories.

Come out of the cold and warm up with your NSCI Tots community on Shabbat morning. We will have the opportunity to play, make new friends, sing songs, and create a Shabbat craft to take home. Bagels and cream cheese will be served.
