Yahrzeits for Shabbat
To honor a loved one's yahrzeit (anniversary of their death) by having their name read during Shabbat services, please complete the information below.
Requests must be received by 5:00 pm on Wednesday in order to be read at the current week's service.
Memorial Plaques
At NSCI, we permanently honor departed loved ones on our memorial walls in Frank Memorial Hall, where names are inscribed on enduring metal plaques. The plaques are highlighted every year on the yahrzeit (anniversary of their death), with a brass frame and their name will be read during Shabbat services and printed in the yahrzeit list on each anniversary.

Book of Remembrance
The Book of Remembrance is a cherished tradition at NSCI during the High Holy Days. It is the service book that guides our worship during the Yizkor Memorial Service on Yom Kippur. It is filled with meaningful prayers and readings that offer comfort and consolation on Yom Kippur and throughout the year, as the names of departed loved ones are written on its pages.
