HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Drop Off Event: Sunday, May 5, 2024, 8:00 am – 1:00 pm. 

NEW THIS YEAR!! Instead of sorting already purchased school supplies, please sign up to buy the specific supplies requested by the Jordan School teachers. Once registered, you will be responsible for purchasing the school supplies prior to May 5, and dropping them off at NSCI anytime between 8:00 am – 1:00 pm that day.

We will have paper and markers available to make cards of encouragement for the students. We will be delivering the supplies to the Jordan School at a later date.

PURPOSE

To provide the more than 500 students at Jordan Elementary School in Chicago with all of the school supplies they'll need for a successful school year!

WHO WE SERVE

Together, we serve families who struggle to financially provide new school supplies for their children, due to family problems and living conditions that impact daily life. In some cases, just surviving is a triumph. But there is one common thread connecting them all: Education is a key that will unlock their best potential for growth and a happy life.

WHAT WE DO

We work with the Jordan School's teachers to develop the list of supplies for each classroom.

With your help, we will purchase the supplies to create a personalized box for each class and ultimately every student. Whether purchasing requested items or making a financial donation, EVERY DOLLAR RECEIVED BENEFITS THE CHILDREN. On delivery day, our Youth Group helps to deliver the supplies to school where

they will meet the teachers and staff, and hear about the students we are supporting.
