Join the CEO of Project Shema, Oren Jacobson, for a program exploring the reasons anti-Jewish ideas often go unnoticed and unchecked in discourse around Israel and Palestine and learn an approach for engagement to address those challenges. Project Shema is a national training & support organization focused on addressing contemporary antisemitism with an emphasis on how anti-Jewish ideas & implicit biases can be carried alongside conversations about Israel & Palestine. -

The Steans Institute Vocal fellows engage in a three-week intensive training program, during which they dive into an expansive repertoire of art song, led by their faculty of renowned musicians, pedagogues, and scholars. Dinner is provided to all who attend the 6:15 pm Kabbalat Shabbat service beforehand. Post Kabbalat Shabbat Concerts are generously sponsored by Jim Stone, Madeleine and Harvey Plonsker, and Bobby Takiff.
