Laurie Mansfield Williams is the mom of 31-year-old Zach Williams, whose life inspired her to create the Collaborative Community Housing Initiative (CCHI), and later The Commons at 1651 Richfield in Highland Park. She founded these efforts to ensure Zach could have a future in his home community—surrounded by friends, family, and the supports he needs to live a full and connected life. Alongside her husband, Rick, Laurie has led this grassroots movement to create inclusive, welcoming neighborhoods for people of all abilities to live. Join us for our Kabbalat Shabbat Shuvah service to hear Laurie speak on her experience and journey founding CCHI. -
