By special arrangement with the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, as well as some of our favorite Israeli vendors, the WNSCI Judaica Gift Shop will feature a unique array of Chanukah menorahs, dreidels, mezuzot, candleholders, kiddush cups, jewelry and so much more.

For more than a decade, NSCI families have come together the weekend before Thanksgiving to pack Thanksgiving meals for the families of Whittier Elementary. Whittier is a K–5 grade school whose families all experience some food insecurity, and are extremely appreciative of our community's generosity. This program helps to nurture NSCI's long standing relationship with our neighbors in Waukegan.

Does someone in your family have a drug/alcohol/behavioral problem? Do you feel isolated, confused or in need of support? YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Families Anonymous is a Twelve Step Program for people concerned about drug/alcohol abuse and behavioral problems of a relative. Please park in the south parking lot. Do you struggle with addiction? Do you want or need support? Typically hosted at North Shore Congregation Israel, these weekly meetings will be held online in a closed session until further notice. AA is an anonymous Twelve Step Program for people who struggle with alcohol or other substances. Please park in the south parking lot. This Shabbat service will feature NSCI college students sharing their stories of being Jewish on campus. We invite all college students visiting home this weekend to come celebrate Shabbat with your NSCI community! The students speaking this year will be Ben Shapiro who is a Senior at the University of Illinois and Jordyn Novick who is a Senior at the University of Michigan.
