High Holy Day Passes

Note that you must be logged in to complete these forms. Click here if you need help logging in.

Congregants

Come pick up your passes at the High Holy Day Pass Pickup & Synagogue Fair on Sunday, September 7th, at 10:30 am. Enjoy coffee and ice cream while learning about the many groups and activities at NSCI. If you cannot pick up your passes at the event, passes will be mailed out on Monday, September 8th.

Congregants will be sent a pass for each adult in the household, as well as for children ages 18–29, valid for entry to High Holy Day services, as long as they are in good financial standing. Children ages 17 and below do not require a pass.

Special Services

Your High Holy Day pass includes access to all services with the exception of the Kol Nidre Alternative Service, which requires a separate paper pass (click here to register for the Kol Nidre Alternative Service).

Tot Services and the Jewish Ethical Wills program require separate registration, but no separate paper passes.

Click here to register for Tot Services.

Please Note

All seats are unreserved. Names will be listed on each pass and are non-transferable. In order to receive High Holy Day passes, each congregant household must be in good financial standing with the synagogue. A congregant household in good standing has paid 2024–2025 dues, assessments, religious school fees and tuition, and other obligations in full or has made other arrangements with our Executive Director, Todd Braman.

WELCOMING GUESTS | GUEST PASS POLICIES

FAMILY GUEST PASSES: FOR RELATIVES OF CONGREGANTS

A congregant in good standing may request guest passes for family members who are not included in their family congregational membership for a required contribution of $150 per pass per High Holy Day (Rosh Hashanah or Yom Kippur). These passes allow guests entry to all High Holy Day services with the exception of the Kol Nidre Alternative Service, which requires a separate paper pass (see below for the registration link). Tot Services and the Jewish Ethical Wills program require separate registration, but no separate paper pass (see below for registration links).

Guest passes can be picked up at the synagogue during office hours on or after September 19th, or at the Will Call tent during the High Holy Days. To support congregants wishing to bring multiple family members, the first two passes will be $150 each and additional passes will be $50 per pass per High Holy Day. Names, relationship to congregant, and contact information of guests are required for all passes. Guest pass contributions may be applied toward dues of any attending relative who becomes a congregant of North Shore Congregation Israel on or before January 1, 2026.

What do you want to communicate now, in life, to the people important to you? Join Rabbi Greene Yom Kippur morning before the Traditional Service for study and interactive conversation. We have a rich Jewish literature of ethical wills, written documents conveying values, teachings, and traditions, dating back to Torah. We’ll look at inspiring examples of ethical wills over time and begin to consider what we would include in our own ethical wills. Please register using the button below.
