Film Screening: OCTOBER 8

7:00 PM - 9:00 PMRebecca K. Crown Social Hall
From executive producer Debra Messing and Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Wendy Sachs, OCTOBER 8 is a searing documentary about the explosion of antisemitism on college campuses, on social media, and on the streets of America after October 7th.
From Hollywood to the #MeToo movement to the United Nations, the film exposes the hypocrisy and double standards and the sense that Israel “had it coming." Ultimately, the film answers the question of what's at stake. It's not just about the Jews or Israel; it's about democracy and freedom itself.
The film features interviews with Debra Messing, Michael Rapaport, Mosab Yousef (son of Hamas's co-founder), Sheryl Sandberg, Scott Galloway, US Rep. Ritchie Torres, US Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, US Ambassador Deborah Lipstadt, Dan Senor, Noa Tishby, Bari Weiss, and a survivor from Nir Oz.
