In commemoration of the Holocaust and its victims, we will gather together as a community for a remembrance ritual for Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day. Afterward, we will hear from Forbes “30 Under 30” director and journalist, Daniel Lombroso, who has spent the last nine years building the Oscar-nominated video departments at The Atlantic and The New Yorker magazines. Lombroso will introduce his critically acclaimed short film Nina & Irena, one of the most decorated short documentaries of 2023, about his grandmother’s experience as a Holocaust survivor. We will then screen the 22-minute film and host a Q&A session with him after the viewing.
