Sukkot Garden Walk: Harvesting Joy
Friday, October 10, 2025 • 18 Tishrei 5786
9:00 AM - 10:30 AMChicago Botanic GardenJoin Rabbi Nina J. Mizrahi for her annual NSCI Sukkot Simchah Walk at the Chicago Botanic Garden.
Sukkot is, according to our tradition, "z'man simchateinu" – the time for rejoicing. Simchah, joy, is a deep spiritual practice that lifts us from despair. We will reflect on "joy wisdom" from our tradition through the eyes of poets and thinkers, creating a welcoming space for exploring our own gratitude for the joy that flows through us when we allow ourselves to be vulnerable. With the rising of gratitude and joy, we will reap and share our individual and collective spiritual harvest. Questions? Contact Jennifer McKeag, here.
This program is free for congregants and $18.00 for non-congregants.
