Volunteer to cook and serve at the Beth Emet Soup Kitchen in Evanston with other members of our NSCI community. The week before, volunteers will be told what to shop for. The soup kitchen is a warm, community-embracing place, and you’ll likely get to meet new folks in the kitchen, too! Advance signup is necessary. Do you struggle with addiction? Do you want or need support? Typically hosted at North Shore Congregation Israel, these weekly meetings will be held online in a closed session until further notice. AA is an anonymous Twelve Step Program for people who struggle with alcohol or other substances. Please park in the south parking lot.
