Do you struggle with addiction? Do you want or need support? Typically hosted at North Shore Congregation Israel, these weekly meetings will be held online in a closed session until further notice. AA is an anonymous Twelve Step Program for people who struggle with alcohol or other substances. Please park in the south parking lot. Learn to chant Torah & Haftarah with Cantor David Goldstein. Gain a practical knowledge of cantillation that will allow you to successfully chant. We will focus on Torah and Haftarah (time permitting). In order to keep your skills current you will become a part of a group that will offer your chanting of Torah for our Shabbat morning community.

We’ll read a variety of poems and respond by writing our own, based on their language and ideas. No prior writing experience necessary. Sign up for all three sessions, or just one. We’ll celebrate with a public reading and Havdalah service over zoom at the end of the workshop.
