Family to Family

Thanksgiving Mitzvah Project

Sunday, November 21
10:00 am-1:00 pm
North Shore Congregation Israel

Provide a Thanksgiving meal for a Whittier Elementary School (Waukegan, IL) student and their family. You can choose to participate "in person" outside at NSCI or "drop off only". Please register and choose your preferred option below. Then shop for the groceries (list provided!) and fill the tote bag in person and decorate a Thanksgiving card, or drop off your completed tote to NSCI on Sunday, November 21st. Either way, plan on walking through the "Mitzvah Pizza" story tiyul to add to your family's experience.

To expedite the registration process, please login to your NSCI account!

Everyone will be assigned a specific packing station and must wear a mask or face covering. Please read the Guidelines for Participation at NSCI.

I am not able to participate in this event but I would like to make a contribution to NSCI's Mitzvot/Repair The World fund.

Please email Rabbi Ryan Daniels if you are able to help drive the completed baskets from NSCI to Waukegan at 1pm on November 21.
